Introduction to Peak Oil – Collection of Articles

Posted by gailtheactuary on November 19, 2007

Most of you know that I write for TheOilDrum.com; as “Gail the Actuary.” Some of my articles appear both here and on The Oil Drum; others are only on The Oil Drum.

This is a link to a PDF Collection  of several Peak Oil Articles I wrote, which I call “Introduction to Peak Oil.” These articles include some articles from this site and some from TheOilDrum.com.

What Should We Do Now? – Booklet, Chapter 4Economic Impact of Peak Oil – Part 2: Our Current SituationEconomic Impact of Peak Oil – Part 3: What’s Ahead?

I also wrote a short introductory presentation on Peak Oil, called “Another Inconvenient Truth”. This is a PDF version of the presentation, which is best for handouts and small groups. This is a link to the PowerPoint version.

One Response to “Introduction to Peak Oil – Collection of Articles”

  1. I have a stupid question to ask:

What is the amount of oil that the world as a whole consumes a day ?
I mean, how many barrels are used daily ?

    It is urgent to know.
I have found the number somewhere , but I cannot remember it now.
    Can someone help, please ?
